CDL Driver

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 1000 pieces of equipment and 18 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking Full-time, highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the unique position of Class A CDL Truck Driver / Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) based out of our Roxana, IL location. This position is responsible for vehicle delivery and returning vehicle to VTR locations and VTR customers.

Please no restrictions on your license except for possibly eye wear. Must have tanker endorsements.

Key Job Functions

• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destination of VTR location or customer locations
• Deliver equipment in an efficient and safe manner while following all Federal and State laws and company rules
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report to location manager if any issues are found
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience required
• 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record required
• CDL Class A license with tanker endorsements and no restrictions (except eye wear)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work the specific location required, complete Vacuum Truck Rentals employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
