VadaTech is a world leader in the design and manufacture of embedded computing solutions. Due to growth, we are seeking candidates for Press Brake Setup Operator. This new role is responsible for setting up press brakes and bending parts to meet drawings and CAD data requirements.

Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to use e-drawings and dwg files
- Form parts according to the drawing and instructions per the manufacturing plan
- Ability to inspect parts and adjust bending program accordingly
- Identify and sequence bends to allow for next operations to be accomplished
- Set up and operate panel bender
- Use of Trumpf Trutops software is a plus
- Collaborate with shop personnel and project engineers
- Knowledge of other sheet metal operations and equipment is a plus
- Adhere to safety protocols in the shop environment
- Help keep the shop clean and organized
May be required to perform additional tasks in support metal fabrication such as:
- Operate Haeger machines according to the drawing and instructions provided
- Assist in masking for powder coating
- Ability to operate the spot welder is a plus
- Water jet cutting operations
- CO2 laser cutting operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing
- Understanding of different material types
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- New product introduction experience is a plus
- Desire to learn on many different pieces of equipment
