Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Program Lead to manage and oversee QA / QC programs for data center projects. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of on-site QA / QC technicians, ensuring compliance with client specifications, and implementing and maintaining quality control processes. The Program Lead will work remotely 75% of the time but must be on-site 25% to provide oversight, training, and ensure quality standards are met. The role involves creating, editing, and implementing QA / QC documentation, coordinating with the client and VADD personnel, and ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership & Management : Lead and supervise on-site QA / QC technicians, providing guidance, direction, and support. Ensure the QA / QC team is properly trained and follows all processes and procedures to maintain quality standards. Conduct periodic site visits to evaluate team performance, provide coaching, and resolve any issues.
- Training & Development : Develop and implement training programs for on-site technicians to ensure they understand and are proficient in executing client-specific QA / QC requirements. Provide ongoing training and resources to keep technicians up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Documentation Management : Create, review, and update QA / QC documentation in alignment with client specifications and project requirements. Ensure all documents, including inspection reports, progress updates, and compliance records, are accurate, thorough, and maintained on schedule.
- Quality Control Implementation : Implement and enforce QA / QC protocols to ensure that all on-site work adheres to client specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor site activities remotely and visit the site as needed to ensure compliance.
- Client Reporting & Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for client and VADD personnel regarding QA / QC program status, updates, and reporting. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on site progress, inspections, and quality control activities to the client and stakeholders. Ensure timely communication of any issues or concerns.
- Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve QA / QC processes and systems. Recommend and implement changes as necessary to improve efficiency, quality, and alignment with client expectations.
- Inspection Readiness & Progress Tracking : Monitor and track site readiness for inspections, ensuring that the project is on schedule and that all systems and equipment meet quality control requirements prior to inspections. Ensure issues are resolved promptly to avoid delays.
- Collaboration with On-Site Teams : Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality control standards are met and project timelines are maintained. Provide guidance on addressing quality-related issues that may arise during construction or commissioning phases.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure all QA / QC activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines. Promote a culture of safety and report any potential risks or hazards.
