We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Greenfield Data Center builds to join our team for a significant contract project in the Northern Virginia area.
Job Overview :
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a Greenfield Data Center build, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to all quality and safety standards. You will be the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including general contractors, owners, and internal teams. This role requires a self-sufficient, highly experienced project manager capable of managing schedules, budgets, and project deliverables independently.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Management : Take full responsibility for managing the schedule, budget, and overall delivery of the Greenfield Data Center build project.
- Coordination : Act as the primary liaison between general contractors, owners, architects, and engineers, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Schedule & Budget Management : Develop, manage, and track project schedules, milestones, and budgets. Ensure the project remains on track financially and from a timeline perspective.
- Stakeholder Communication : Regularly update senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders on project status, risks, and key milestones.
- Resource Management : Oversee the allocation of resources (labor, equipment, materials) and ensure that project requirements are met without compromising quality or safety.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks to the project timeline, budget, or quality and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Quality Control : Ensure that the construction work meets all company standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Problem-Solving : Address issues promptly and autonomously, ensuring minimal disruption to the projects progress.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and building codes.
