Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver and pick up automotive parts safely and on time.
- Load parts according to manifests to minimize damage and improve delivery efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Collect payments for products when required and manage documentation for deliveries and returns.
- Use company-provided software and devices to manage delivery operations efficiently.
- Communicate delivery issues promptly to team members, including missing or unavailable parts.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs or concerns.
- Refuel vehicles at the end of routes and maintain a clean, usable condition.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per shift.
- Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Use of hand and power tools consistent with industry standards.
Specific Requirements:
- Conduct daily check-ins and check-outs with the designated dispatcher or supervisor.
- Notify the supervisor immediately of any accidents, vehicle concerns, or property damage.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and environmental policies.
- NO smoking or personal use of the company vehicle.
