Position: Box Builder
Supervisor: Materials Supervisor
Classification: Part-time, Non-Exempt
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Summary:
As a Part-Time Box Builder, you are responsible for assembling crates, boxes, and packaging materials for aviation related products. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble boxes according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure all crates and boxes meet company and customer standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace following industry 5S standards.
- Always follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift boxes, crates, and materials as needed up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
