About Vaerus Jet Sales
At Vaerus Jet Sales, we simplify the complexities of aircraft transactions. With over two decades of experience, we guide our clients through buying or selling aircraft with transparency, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Our name, derived from Latin, means right, true, and real—reflecting our core values. We believe that private aviation is a practical solution for business growth and personal convenience, not a status symbol. Our team provides a seamless experience, ensuring that our clients can focus on their goals while we handle the details.
About the Role
We’ve outsourced our marketing efforts in the past but are now ready to bring marketing in-house and build a high-performing, scalable function—starting with Vaerus Jet Sales. We’re looking for a hands-on marketing leader who can build from the ground up, set the strategy, execute campaigns, and know when to outsource versus scale internally.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the marketing foundation of a fast-growing company. You’ll work directly with company leadership to bring consistency, clarity, and momentum to our messaging, brand presence, and client engagement strategies.
What You’ll Do
As our first internal marketing hire, the Marketing Strategist will:
- Own and develop our marketing strategy
- Execute and optimize campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Partner with leadership to align marketing with overall business goals
- Build reporting dashboards to track performance (lead quality, CAC, ROI)
- Manage outsourced partners and freelance contributors
- Develop our brand voice and storytelling
- Collaborate with sales to support lead generation and conversion
- Identify, implement, and manage marketing tools and systems
- Travel as needed for aircraft shoots, industry events, or key partner collaborations (~10-15% expected)
What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months):
- Clear and consistent brand presence across all channels
- Measurable pipeline contribution from marketing-led initiatives
- Efficient use of freelancers/contractors with clear ROI
- A defined plan to scale the internal team as needed
- A marketing dashboard leadership can understand and trust
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally in high-consideration sales or professional services
- Has built or rebuilt marketing at a small to mid-sized company
- Strong in digital strategy (SEO, paid, email, content, website optimization)
- Confident managing freelancers and vendors
- Strong communicator who can educate non-marketing leadership
- Comfortable both planning and doing
