Dental Office Biller /Manager 

We are seeking a highly experienced Dental Office Manager / Biller with a professional, caring personality to join our private practice. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive, friendly work environment where hard work is acknowledged and valued.

 

The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks of the dental office. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and scheduling, as well as proficiency in office management software. The Dental Receptionist will ensure that all patient interactions are handled with professionalism and care, contributing to a positive experience for every patient. Will be responsible of insurance billing, MUST have 3 years of experience in Dental billing.

Responsibilities:

·         Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process.

·         Schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft.

·         Manage medical coding and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes.

·         Process patient insurance claims and verify eligibility.

·         Dental insurance billing using Eaglesoft .

·         Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

·         Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services.

·         Assist with administrative tasks such as managing office supplies and maintaining a clean reception area.

·         Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.

 

Key responsibilities of a dental office billing specialist:

·         Claim submission: Prepare and submit electronic dental insurance claims to various payers, ensuring accurate patient demographics, procedure codes, and diagnosis codes. 

·         Benefit verification: Contact insurance companies to verify patient benefits, including coverage limits and copayments for upcoming dental procedures. 

·         Payment posting: Review and post insurance payments to patient accounts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or denials. 

·         Claim follow-up: Actively monitor the status of submitted claims, contacting insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and resolve any billing issues. 

·         Patient billing: Generate patient statements, including outstanding balances, and communicate with patients regarding their financial responsibility. 

·         Coding accuracy: Ensure correct dental procedure codes are used on claims by staying updated on current coding guidelines. 

·         Denial management: Review claim denials, identify reasons for rejection, and take necessary steps to appeal or resubmit claims. 

·         Patient inquiries: Respond to patient questions regarding billing statements, insurance coverage, and payment options. 

·         Data entry: Maintain accurate patient and insurance information within the dental practice management software. 

·         Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. 

 

 

Skills

·         Knowledge of dental billing codes (CDT).

·         Insurance billing experience.

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.

·         Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

·         Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.

 

 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of dental insurance billing and management experience.
  • Proficient in Eaglesoft software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, caring approach to patient care.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead a successful, smooth-running office.

 Monday -Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Salary : $28 - $32
