We are seeking a talented LPN or CMA to join our family medicine team. This part-time position offers 32 hours per week, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients. Sign-on BONUS for eligible applicants up to $15,000.
Job Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of patients. Documents a thorough medical history from patient. Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Counseling patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans. The LPN demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Must have graduated from a school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training, or experience requirements. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as a RN (or LPN) at another facility. Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
