Job Title : Interventional Cardiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Southwestern Michigan

Location : Warren, Michigan

Job Overview

A level III trauma facility is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in southwestern Michigan. The schedule consists of rounding Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weeknight STEMI call coverage from 5 PM to 8 AM. Additionally, there is 24-hour weekend call coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Provide locum tenens coverage as an interventional cardiologist in a busy trauma facility.
Participate in patient care, including assessments and treatment plans.
Manage a case load of 15-25 patients per day.
Respond to calls as per the 1 : 4 call ratio.

Qualifications

Must be board certified in cardiology.

Prescriptive authority is required.

Experience with STEMI cases is preferred.
