We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced team member to oversee our operations and ensure the smooth running of daily business. As the VAC Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, hiring & supervising staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties:
- Manage the overall operations of VAC, including staff supervision, scheduling, guest services, and performance management
- Hands on to assist tours, reservations, marketing as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory/retail
- Facilitate training and educational events
- Attend marketing and promotional events
- Collaborate with other team member and management on growth and success opportunities
- Resolve customer complaints or issues with grace
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Stay up-to-date with industry qualifications
- This position does require ability to certify as a guide for all operations. Up to 50% of this position could be outdoors. This facility operates May-November yearly for guests. December-April no guests are present.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Operations, Hospitality, Business or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a similar industry

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to learn reservations and marketing programs
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
