About the opportunity:
Efficiently, timely and accurately post cash, adjustments, and funds transfers for services of Vail Health.
What you will do:
- Accurately post cash (including zero pays), adjustments, and funds transfers on a daily basis for insurance companies, patients, vendors, and hospital departments.
- Read and accurately interpret EOB’s and insurance correspondence.
- Prepare and compile daily reports and reconciliation.
- Work with all forms of money transactions: credit cards, cash, checks, electronic funds transfers, and batching bank deposits.
- Work and review unpostable or unapplied cash reports weekly.
- Work and resolve the Unapplied Cash account by the end of each month.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other staff to identify trends and solutions to enable more accurate posting.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members as needed.
- Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. 10-key adding machine skills preferred.
