Job Summary:

Advanced Cooks functions as very experienced cook, responsible for performing the full range of the most difficult cooking tasks. In addition to cooking complex menu items, prepares sauces and glazes to enhance flavors. Improvises on established recipes based on availability of ingredients. Suggests, develops, and tests new recipes and menu items. May assist with ordering and inventory management. Oversees food preparation and provides training and guidance to more junior staff. Responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute, prepare and ensure quality service in our culinary operations. Perform daily back of house culinary tasks to deliver excellent culinary service to resort guests, including but not limited to the following: Setting and stocking work stations as necessary; Preparing a wide variety of basic to complex menu items; and Assisting other cooks as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Make connections with guests and co-workers

• Follow the leaderships guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting

• Prepare a range of food items in a fun teamwork oriented environment

• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the work day

• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional location dependent)

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience

• Desire to learn and grow

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift and carry objects up to 40lbs

The expected pay range is $22.00 - $24.49 / hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
