Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA Team Lead to be responsible for conducting manual QA, and leading a team of offshore and contract QA Leads and Analysts. Directly supporting our digital products and services across consumer-facing web, mobile app, e-commerce, SMS chatbot, and the broader marketing technology space; the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team-oriented environment. By leveraging a strong QA execution and leadership background, this individual will work with the Director of Digital Technology to evaluate and refine our existing QA processes and tools, establish a leadership and executive reporting standard, and build relationships with offshore and other QA contract agencies for efficient staff augmentation. Ultimately, the ideal QA Team Lead will have strong leadership qualities, be able to provide guidance and support to the QA Leads, and develop a strong partnership with the PM, BA, and Development Managers and teams. The QA Team Lead reports to the Director of Digital Technology within the Digital Technology IT team.

Job Responsibilities:

Process Refinement: Assess resources, platforms, and applications to establish a baseline and determine the immediate and ongoing needs of the Digital Team’s QA program.

Hiring and Onboarding: Partner with the Director of Digital Technology to hire offshore QA resources and contract QA Analysts. Own the onboarding process for those individuals and provide ongoing timely and actionable feedback throughout their tenure. Identify high-quality talent and place individuals in the right roles.

Resource Efficiency: Drive strategic initiatives to reduce time to release, increase quality and expand test automation.

Project Support: Help projects to be successful by leading and owning QA tasks when appropriate. Support and assist QA Leads, Analysts and Automation Engineers with challenging technical issues.

Testing: Manual QA as needed, including on-mountain testing.

Documentation: Define, document and guide best practices and standards for all QA implementations to establish a culture of quality on the Digital team. Maintains SOP and onboarding documentation for new QA team members.

Job Requirements:
Required:

4 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with e-commerce websites and mobile apps

1 years of experience leading and coordinating activities for a QA team

Strong experience with tools such as Octopus, Postman, and LambdaTest or Browserstack
-
Experience with test script management tools such as Zephyr Scale
-
Experience with documentation-sharing tools such as SharePoint and Confluence
-
Experience with MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
-
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to manage and lead at all levels of testing including unit, functional, regression, performance and scalability testing
-
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
-
Strong understanding of the web and mobile application lifecycle development process
-
Experience with working with offshore resources and outside agencies for staff augmentation

Organize, lead, and engage in on-mountain testing at our ski resorts as required. Up to 10% travel is expected.

Be available to address critical production issues, including after-hours support when necessary

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
