Job Summary:
Vail Resorts is seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Specialist to join our Omni-Channel Marketing team, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado. This role is instrumental in driving the success of our marketing initiatives by developing and executing innovative paid media strategies across multiple lines of business and our portfolio of resort destinations.
The Senior Paid Media Specialist will support the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across a diverse range of traditional and digital channels—including TV, display, video, social, and emerging ad platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of performance analysis, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that our media efforts maximize engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.

Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with agencies and in-house team members to execute end-to-end management of paid media campaigns including: campaign setup, budget pacing, bidding, billing and actuals, audience and creative performance analysis, and optimization to ensure spend goals and benchmark KPIs are achieved.
- Demonstrate an understanding of platform and industry trends, reporting and analytics, attribution modeling, best practices, and audience targeting capabilities across paid media platforms.
- Deliver weekly and ad hoc reporting across all lines of business, including current insights and recommendations to improve performance.
- Proactively recommend changes to existing campaign setup and go-to-market processes that improve overall performance and ways of working.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, and multiple internal partners across Vail Resorts including Paid Media, Creative Services, Channel Analytics, Communications, Marketing Operations, and other Marketing functions and divisions to achieve business goals.
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected changes to strategy and/or campaign setup in response to business dynamics.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the programmatic media landscape
- BA or equivalent with emphasis on coursework in marketing, advertising, or paid media
- 2-4 years of Paid Media experience, proven experience managing multi-channel digital advertising campaigns with significant budgets.
- Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A self-motivated drive to learn & strong openness to feedback.
- Organizational prowess to track a high volume of deliverables and priorities.
- Ability to analyze raw data and formulate insights to tell a meaningful story to stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong verbal, written communication and presenting skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Hands on experience in the following tools a plus: Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Smartly, Adobe DSP, DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Jira
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $61,286 - $82,472. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
