The Role: As a My Epic Gear Slopeside Attendant, you will create a welcoming first impression for our members at our slopeside pickup and drop-off locations. The Slopeside Attendant is an ambassador of the My Epic Gear program. In this role, your primary responsibility is to assist our members with their gear before and after skiing. Promptly, you will receive, store, organize, retrieve, and return ski and snowboard gear.

The Role: As a My Epic Gear Slopeside Attendant, you will create a welcoming first impression for our members at our slopeside pickup and drop-off locations. The Slopeside Attendant is an ambassador of the My Epic Gear program. In this role, your primary responsibility is to assist our members with their gear before and after skiing. Promptly, you will receive, store, organize, retrieve, and return ski and snowboard gear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer any member questions regarding the My Epic Gear membership program and specific information about reservations, gear, or the resort in general.
- Properly use hand-held tablets operating the slopeside software.
- Daily set-up and tear down of Slopeside tents, racking, and other collateral, as well as maintaining a clean working area.
- Organization of gear physically and electronically to allow prompt and accurate delivery to the member.
- Transport skis and snowboards from delivery vans, member services, and tune shops.
- As a part of our Vail Resorts Retail, we work as one team, and our colleagues, on occasion, will work across departments or roles depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- Keen to learn new skills, open-minded, and can adapt to changing situations.
- Must be able to work as part of a team or alone.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move large rolling racks of skis and snowboards safely.
- Willingness and ability to stand for 8 hours and work outside in winter conditions.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication, organization skills, and administration abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required.
