- Bachelor’s degree in education, Curriculum Development, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in curriculum design, instructional development, or teaching in K-5 settings.
- Strong knowledge of SEL, STEM, PE, Enrichment, Literacy, and Math educational standards and frameworks.
- Experience designing curriculum for afterschool programs, summer camps, or informal learning environments preferred.
- Proficiency in developing hands-on, experiential learning activities.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Excellent writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt curriculum to various program settings and learning environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including English language learners and students with special needs.
- Familiarity with digital tools and learning management systems (LMS) to support curriculum development.
- Knowledge of grant writing and funding opportunities for educational programs.
- Spanish-speaking preferred.
- Design and implement age-appropriate, engaging curriculum aligned with educational standards.
- Collaborate with educators to integrate and improve instructional strategies.
- Provide training, co-planning, and co-teaching support to instructors.
- Present at program sites, gather feedback, and refine curricula as needed.
- Ensure culturally responsive and inclusive materials, incorporating emerging best practices.
- Communicate supply needs and develop instructional resources.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
