Job Title : OBIEE Consultant

Duration : 12 Months

Location : 100% Remote

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced OBIEE Consultant with expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) . The ideal candidate will have 6 -10 years of experience in designing and developing data warehouse solutions, ETL processes, and system integration projects . This role requires strong technical expertise in BI applications, PL / SQL, and enterprise application data structures .

Key Responsibilities :

BI Development & Data Integration :

  • Design and develop Data Warehouse solutions , including ETL processes.
  • Develop and maintain OBIEE / OAC dashboards, reports, and metadata models .
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) with ETL design and data modeling .
  • Implement and optimize OBI-APPS Financial Analytics modules .
  • Design and maintain PL / SQL procedures for data transformations.
  • Optimize ETL mappings and suggest tuning strategies at both ETL and database levels .

Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting :

  • Conduct query tuning and performance optimization for data retrieval.
  • Debug and resolve data integration and report generation issues .
  • Perform gap analysis and resolve functional / technical discrepancies .
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with enterprise data governance standards .

    • Enterprise Application & IT Operations :

  • Work with Oracle and PeopleSoft applications to analyze data structures.
  • Collaborate with Business Customers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and SMEs .
  • Provide L2 / L3 support for OBIEE, OAC, and ODI environments .
  • Participate in Agile / Scrum development processes , including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • Utilize ITSM tools like ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution.

    • Documentation & Team Collaboration :

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and best practices .
  • Train junior team members on BI tools, ODI processes, and data analytics concepts .
  • Contribute to an internal knowledge base and standard operating procedures (SOPs) .

    • Qualifications :

    6 - 10 years of experience in BI development, data integration, and warehouse solutions .

    Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with OBIEE / OAC .

    Minimum 5 years of expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and ETL design .

    Minimum 4 years of experience with OBI-APPS Financial Analytics modules .

    Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, and performance tuning .

    Strong understanding of enterprise application data structures (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) .

    Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.

    Expertise in ITSM tools like ServiceNow for L2 / L3 support .

    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
