Summary:
To maintain, repair and service grooming equipment and snowmobiles. To perform all shop duties, preventative maintenance and daily inspection of equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
- General diagnosis, maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and parts.
- Provides mechanic repair and other responsibilities including but not limited to diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic, hydrostatic, small engine (Snowmobiles) and large engine (SnowCats).
- Communicate with department heads and employees regarding equipment problems and repairs.
- Must be able to work as part of a team; assisting other employees in diagnosis and repairs.
- Repair and Maintenance of Diesel and Gas Engines.
- Electrical and Electronic Diagnosis.
- Assists in all other shop duties as assigned. Responsible for all duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Automotive, Truck, or Fleet diagnostics and repair.
- Small engine and/or snowmobile repair experience is a benefit.
- Able to diagnosis and repair electrical and computer systems problems on modern vehicles.
- Able to diagnosis and repair major mechanical systems on modern vehicles.
- Must have own tools.
- Must have a current, valid US Drivers License.
