Adventure Ridge Mountain Bike Guide - Part Time (One Call), Summer Seasonal 2014, Vail Mountain
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- The Adventure Ridge Mountain Bike Guide is responsible for ensuring a fun and safe on-mountain biking experience.
- Guides will be leading tours on Vail Mountain's beginner downhill/crosscountry trails.
- Ensure the guest is educated in basic operation of bicycle.
- Repair minor mechanical issues.
- Respond to accidents and coordinate proper rescue if appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate to expert mountain bike experience as well as basic bike repair skills - required.
- CPR and basic first aid skills or must be able to attend and pass CPR and first aid training - required.
- Must be able to provide their own bikes and helmets - required.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays - required.
- Must be comfortable working in variable Summer conditions for up to three hours - required.
