What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain - DoubleTree by Hilton - Full Time/Year Round- Breckenridge, CO position at vailresorts.valhalla.stage?
Banquet Captain is a supervisor role for the Double Tree by Hilton Banquet and Conference services operations. Will be responsible for managing and directing a large staff, organize banquet events, including plated functions, buffets, meetings, special events, and VIP events. Also required to work in the other Food and Beverage units that exist at the Double Tree, including but not limited to 9600 Kitchen and Fresh Connection. Will be required to attend BEO meeting and similar event planning and departmental meetings. Be involved in payroll, scheduling, inventory and ordering. Will be asked to adhere to Company Brand Standards for all food outlets and Banquet spaces.
Qualifications:
- Computer Literate
- Solid organization and time management skills
- Able to interact with guests and meeting contacts in a professional manner
- Previous Banquets experience - at least 1 year
- Previous Supervisory experience in F&B - at least 1 year
- Able to achieve quality work from your banquet staff members
- Fluent in written and spoken English / Good comunication skills
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors
- No scheduling restrictions
