- Responsible for being a team player and effectively communicating between the front of the house and back of the house.
- Ensuring that the presentation of food being served is up to restaurant standards.
- Responsible for making sure all servers get the right food in the right order.
- Applicant should be confident in handling a fast paced atmosphere and able to multitask effectively.
- Professional appearance and excellent verbal communication skills are a must.
- A minimum of six months working in the restaurant industry is required.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to communicate English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Be head of communication between front of house and back of house
- Make sure presentation of food is up to standard
- Garnish all good correctly
- Expedite food quickly and in correct order
- Prepare all the proper condiments on each tray before the server takes food out to table
- Keep expo line clean and tidy
- Help run food to tables if server is unable to
- Let the servers know when their tables food is ready
- Keep all food tickets organized, before and after food has been sent out
- Help pre-bus tables in the dining room and bar.
- Must attend pre-shift meetings as well as any other scheduled staff meetings.
