The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring that all guests have the highest quality dining experience possible. All team Members assist in maintaining a profitable department that is also environmentally responsible.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Ensures all orders are completed properly and that they are timed correctly.
- Assist servers in carrying out all food to large parties and follows all brand standards while doing so.
- Is willing to "fill in the gaps" as necessary by handling server duties, IRD duties and stewarding needs.
- Keeps the chefs and managers informed of any issues that mightaffect service or timing.
- Completes daily sidework that is assigned.
- Assist both the line cooks and servers as needed.
- Knowledge of an ability to adhere to RockResort brand standards.
- Able to cross train for banquet, IRD shifts on property.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and or late evenings.
- At least 18 years of age
- High school degree or GED
- Professional Food and beverage experience - preferred
- Guest Service experience - required
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
