Afton Alps - part of Vail Resorts is seeking hard working and motivated employees to work at our resort this upcoming winter season.
Job Responsibilites:
- Ability to use hand grinders to clean and prep lift towers and chair surfaces for painting
- Grind, sand and polish lift towers and chairs
- Must be able to work at heights up to 30 feet
- Adhere to established safety policies, procedures and practices
- Demonstrate teamwork by working with others to improve overall standards of performance and service
- Willing and able to cross-train on other positions or projects within the maintenance department
- Other tasks and work duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Able to meet physical demands of the position such as standing outside in inclement weather for long periods of time, lifting at least 50 lbs, etc.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- This position requires working in all positions: including on knees, crawling, overhead and frequently moving heavy objects in awkward positions.
- Must have flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
