The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the lodge: hallways, elevators, main public bathrooms, fitness rooms, garage and assisting housekeepers with general cleaning of guest rooms if needed. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets, cleaning/waxing of floors, trash removal, stocking and maintaining supply rooms, keeping the exterior grounds clean, sweeping, snow removal and other cleaning duties. Very detailed cleaning is required. Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Seasonal, and must be able to work holidays and weekends, generally 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - preferred
- Able to communicate in English - preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience - required
- Flexible schedule required. Ability to work weekends and holidays
- In-person interviews - preferred
