Job Description:
- Responsible for the application of fertilizers, pesticides and soil amendments.
- Keep accurate and complete records.
- Perform complex maintenance and agronomic tasks such as aeration, topdressing, seeding and verticutting.
- Lead small groups in completion of golf course projects.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of golf course irrigation system.
- Perform routine golf maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Adhere to the golf course professional appeareance and grooming standards
- Be able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Candidate will have the ability to do heavy physical labor,
- Able to lift 50 lbs constantly and stand for long periods of time
- Work as a part of a team
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, holidays, etc
- Valid Driver's License - Preferred
- Two or more years experince in golf maintenance - Required
- Turf management classes or certification - Preferred
