Seeking qualified candidates for Breckenridge Resort's Grounds Maintenance Crew. Job duties include:
- Consistently provide a professional manner when handling an internal or external guest experience.
- Must work independently with little or no supervision.
- Assisting the grounds crew lead and supervisor in achieving department goals.
- Leads crew on assigned landscaping and snow maintenance projects.
- Removing snow from sidewalks
- Operate various snow removal equipment.
- Spreading salt on sidewalks during icy conditions and using shovel or picker.
- Landscapes new ground areas including:
- Planting and watering flowerbeds and lawns
- Laying sod using gardening tools
- Trimming and edging using lawn mowers, clippers, weed cutters and edging tools
- Cleaning grounds and removing litter.
- Previous experience and ability to demonstrate expertise in composting and recycling.
- Maintain and transport of Recycling, Composting and Trash from resort to Summit County Landfill
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Performs related work assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Read, Write, speak English
- Previous heavy machinery experience preferred
