- Responsible for daily operation and food production for the restaurant.
- Ensures entire outlet operates under HACCP guidelines and adheres to Serve Safe Culinary Guidelines.
- Ensure culinary staff provides exceptional guest service to dining guests including monitoring appearance of culinary staff as well as their customer service performance such as professionally taking orders, anticipating a guest's needs, suggestive selling, etc.
- End of month responsibilities include assisting with taking and extending physical inventory.
- Operates food program to standards.
- Checks quality daily of all food served and produced.
- Ensure that staff has proper (usable) equipment to perform tasks, and that it is in good, safe condition.
- Assist with ordering and receiving all provisions needed for outlet operation.
- Act as a spokesperson for the culinary department by giving information to culinary and service staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to communicate English
- Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
- 2 years restaurant experience - Required
- 1 year supervisory experience - Preferred
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
