PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Perform various custodial and/or housekeeping tasks around the resort.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external). Follow The Resort’s etiquette guidelines.
- Perform regular custodial/housekeeping duties.
- Empty trash receptacles and pick up litter in and around facilities.
- Cleaning various facilities around the resort, this includes clean and stock bathrooms, floors, vacuum, sweep, dust, and mop.
- Follow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals, etc.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Align furniture, pictures and furnishings.
- Wash windows, wall, tables, and the like.
- Perform some routine inspection and maintenance of electrical, heating and ventilating equipment
WORKING RELATIONSHIP
- Reports to Director of Housekeeping
- Supervised by Housekeeping Custodial Supervisor
- Receives moderate direction from various managers throughout the resort.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.
- Ability to work inclement weather at times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School education or equivalent desirable.
- Previous housekeeping/custodial experience preferred.
- Good knowledge and skills in housekeeping and custodial work, including applicable safety procedures.
- Ability to perform all job duties.
- Prefer the ability to ski or snowboard on level blue runs.
