Security Public Safety Officer - Full Time, Winter Seasonal, Vail Mountain
The Security Public Safety Officer is primarily a guest service position that provides a variety of loss prevention, fire and life safety, and access control services to Vail Mountain and our guests.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Investigate and follow up with all injuries and law violations that occur on the mountain.
- Enforce all fire safety guildelines.
- Enforce and control access or vehilce traffic on Vail Mountain as well as restricted areas.
- Cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
- Handle guest issues professionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license - required.
- High school diploma or equivalent - required.
- Good written and oral communication - required.
- Great guest service skills - required.
- Able to work independently - required.
- Computer proficient - required.
- Able to lift 100 lbs required.
- Knowledge of Vail Mountain and its operations - required.
- Snowmobile experience - required.
- EMT or first responder certification - preferred.
- Intermediate skier/snowboarder - preferred.
