Small World Nursery Lead - Full Time, Winter Seasonal, Vail Mountain
The Small World Nursery Lead position is responsible for leading certain aspects of the nursery program at Golden Peak. This is accomplished by focusing on the customer, the business, the employee, the team and communication, personal development and job-specific responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Help develop curriculum/growth and development skills for specific age grouping - infant, toddler and preschool.
- Help teachers on a daily basis create lesson plans, art projects, specific skill development projects.
- Is actively involved and assists the Small World Nursery Supervisor in writing all the material available in the nursery - CDHS rules & guidelines, operating hours, etc.
- Understands and communicates all emergency procedures.
- Follows policies and procedures established to insure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the children.
- Responsible for Product Sales knowledge - helping with front desk duties and responsibilites: on line reservations, etc.
- Cash handling training/SOX compliance requirements, closing procedures, etc.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Development education courses - preferred.
- Two years of guest service experience - required.
- A minimum of two years experience in a daycare facility - preferred.
- Computer knowledge a must - required.
- Must pass a background check and finger print check - required.
- Fluent in English - required.
- Spanish extremely helpful - preferred.
- Pediatric or Medic First Aid - required.
