This position is perfect for those who like constant guest and employee interaction and creating an Experience of a Lifetime for our guests! Greet and connect incoming calls to their proper destination with a friendly demeanor. Telecommunications services will be provided with the use of an electronic Dimension 600 PBX console and automated guest message service. Dispatch emergency calls or fire emergencies to Security and/or National Park Service. Activate automatic wake up calls for guests. Dispatch urgent messages to bell staff for delivery to guest rooms. Maintain a pleasant and cordial attitude. Maintain a follow up call log for all guest inquiries and complaints and follow up accordingly with engineering and the guest. Send and receive faxes for guests and staff. Our season typically runs from mid-May through early October.
- Strong working knowledge of computers
- Fluent in understanding and speaking English
- Friendly, courteous personality, ability to relate well to guests and employees
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Previous Hotel Operator experience
