Generally, the Club Valet is responsible for doing whatever it takes to ensure the valet team accomplishes its mission, which is:
To amplify our member's enjoyment of Vail Mountain's activities and attractions by promptly providing them with agile and enthusiastic individualized service.
The valet team accomplishes this mission by focusing on the following:
- BEING PROMPT: Ensuring we help our members get on the mountain as quickly as possible: i.e. members never have to wait for their skis.
- BEING AGILE: by being attentive to our member's desires whether they occur in ski and car valet or in other areas of the Club, in town, or on the mountain.
- BEING ENTHUSIASTIC: be being cognizant of our place (i.e. living in Vail and the mountains) and its wonders and sharing this with our members via an attitude of appreciation and excitement.
- BEING INDIVIDUALIZED: by learning from and about our members so that we, not only satisfy, but anticipate their desires and needs.
- BEING PROFESSIONAL: by speaking to team members in, and carrying oneself in, a professional and personable manner throughout your daily activities
The generality of the team's mission and goals reflects the dynamic nature of working in the club environment, which can be quite different from a typical valet position, requiring someone who is dynamic and who takes initiative to insure members are having a great experience while at the club.
That said, the specific task range from the everyday-parking cars and processing skis-to helping in other areas of the Club be it in the Kitchen area, Houskeeping Area, etc. For an enthusiastic, personable, and energetic individual looking for a way to enjoy Vail for the winter, this is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular environment, working with Vail's most important customers.
