Vail Mountain Dining Expeditor, Game Creek - Winter Seasonal, Full Time
Nestled just below Eagle's Nest and just above the Game Creek chair lift, Game Creek Restaurant is a truly unique location where guests can enjoy a gourmet dinner and an exceptional dining experience while overlooking the beautiful Game Creek Bowl. Game Creek Restaurant offers delectable, five-star, distinctive American cuisine complimented by an award-winning wine list and superior service. This breathtaking European chalet-style restaurant is accessible only by snowcat.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- The expediter ensures the presentation of every plate going into the dining room and ensures it is delivered to the correct table.
- Works as a liaison between servers and kitchen staff.
- Responsible for carrying out and delivering food and maintaining the service window.
- Responsible for the presentation of every plate going into the dining room.
- Must be knowledgeable of proper table set up, menu and course descriptions and restaurant organization.
Qualifications:
- Must have a friendly and courteous attitude toward guests - required.
- Previous food service experience - required.
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs - required.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours - required.
- Must be fluent in English - required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26th through January 2nd, Presidents’ Day Weekend, and any other holidays as requested - required.
- High school diploma or equivalent - preferred.
