Description
Support Sales and act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, process orders and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The Regional Sales Coordinator is confident at troubleshooting and investigating if they don’t have enough information to answer customer questions or resolve complaints. The main objective is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction in a courteous and professional manner. The ideal candidate is a good listener, empathetic, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls and emails
- Provide product and service information to customers
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Escalate queries and concerns to supervisors
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar (1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferred)
- Strong phone handling skills and active listening
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Epicor / Kinetic ERP System preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift.
- Use of hands and fingers to perform job function.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
