Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED-Must be attached to application at time of submission.
  • Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) or completion of ROP Childcare course- Must be attached to application at time of submission.
  • Pass the NCLB - VVUSD District Exam
  • Resum desirable

Interested applicants are required to submit an EDJOIN online application and the following attachments :

  • Test Scores : If you have taken the exam within the three years, attach a copy of your letter indicating passing score of 75%. (Testing scores are good for three years from the original testing date.) If you are a new applicant, you will be invited to take the District exam if you pass the initial screening for the position. You will not have to attach any test scores.
  • Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) or completion of ROP Childcare course- Must be attached to application at time of submission.
  • Signed and dated Letter of Recommendation from MOST current employer
  • Copy of Transcript (Completion of six (6) units in ECE Early Childhood Education (3 units in school age) or completion of ROP Childcare course-)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed and dated Letter of Recommendation from MOST current employer)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma or GED)
  • Comments and Other Information
