Job Summary
The Manager - Global Financial Reporting will ensure Company financial statements are prepared, audited and filed on time. The Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, delivering audits and managing the relationships with auditors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ownership for preparing financial statements in accordance with company policies and processes.
- Deliver assigned audits on time by providing the appropriate level of support to the auditor and managing effective audit issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain a constructive and effective relationship with auditors.
- Effectively brief the Global Financial Reporting Director of the status of audits and propose potential resolution of issues arising within audits.
- Analyze Company operating results and developments to ensure the preparation of complete and accurate financial statements.
- Ensure financial statement policies and disclosures are appropriate and modified in response to changes in the Company's operations and business conditions.
- Proactively identify, interpret and implement changes in financial reporting requirements.
- Liaises with operations, tax and legal management to obtain support and management information required to deliver audits.
- Respond to auditor requests for documentation and resolve issues identified by the auditor.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Global Financial Reporting Director.
- Deliver innovation, automation, simplification and operational excellence.
- Proactively manage and develop team members.
