Valbin Corporation is seeking a General Clerk for a potential contract supporting the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. This position is responsible for maintaining records, processing documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring efficient office operations to support training and logistical functions. ***This position is contingent upon award.
Valbin Corporation’s mission is to provide linguistic support, cultural sensitivity training, project management, and exercise support services to the US Government and private sector. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.
As the cornerstone of Valbin's strength, Mission Readiness Support provides government agencies and service members with role players, battlefield immersions, and cultural awareness training. Valbin’s efforts ensure that the U.S. agencies receive the best possible training support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or clerical support, preferably within a government or training environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of training schedules, personnel assignments, and equipment inventory.
- Process reports, forms, and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Support student and training administration by filing, retrieving, and distributing documents as needed.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics for training events.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing administrative assistance to project managers and staff.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure compliance with government requirements.
- Track and monitor procurement requests, supply orders, and inventory records.
- Support payroll and timekeeping functions by collecting and submitting necessary documentation.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including processing paperwork and setting up workspace logistics.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with federal regulations.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support overall contract performance.
Hours of Operation: 0700 -1700 Monday-Friday
