Valbin Corporation is seeking a Scheduler for a potential contract supporting the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. This role ensures efficient planning and execution of training programs by maintaining accurate scheduling records and communicating with key stakeholders. ***This position is contingent upon award.
Valbin Corporation’s mission is to provide linguistic support, cultural sensitivity training, project management, and exercise support services to the US Government and private sector. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.
As the cornerstone of Valbin's strength, Mission Readiness Support provides government agencies and service members with role players, battlefield immersions, and cultural awareness training. Valbin’s efforts ensure that the U.S. agencies receive the best possible training support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, workforce management, or logistics coordination, preferably within a government or training environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple schedules, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and generate scheduling reports for management.
- Knowledge of government contract compliance and labor regulations is a plus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update training schedules for all contract personnel, including role players, training support staff, and educational aides.
- Coordinate staffing assignments to meet contract requirements and ensure adequate coverage for training exercises.
- Utilize the Student Administration and Scheduling System (SASS) and other government-provided systems to access and verify training schedules.
- Communicate schedule updates, changes, and adjustments to all relevant personnel in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with government contract requirements related to training support and role player scheduling.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Role Player Coordinators, and Government Officials to align scheduling with training needs.
- Monitor and track attendance, availability, and performance of scheduled personnel.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on scheduling accuracy and contract compliance.
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve issues before they impact operations.
- Maintain detailed records of shift assignments, scheduling adjustments, and personnel changes.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new personnel on scheduling procedures.
- Ensure adherence to federal labor laws and contract regulations regarding work hours, overtime, and break periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support contract operations.
Hours of Operation: 0700 -1700 Monday-Friday
