Job Summary:
The Maintenance Reliability Technician is responsible for maximizing the function and performance of the operation’s machinery and equipment. He/she will analyze data to determine potential problems and opportunities, developing and implementing solutions for improvement and schedule maintenance activities.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new maintenance procedures to increase the function and performance of machinery and equipment.
- Analyze equipment failure data to identify patterns and trends
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying cause of problems
- Monitor the effectiveness of machinery and equipment interventions in order to prevent breakdowns, ensure the availability of spare parts.
- Identify and integrate new technologies and processes to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees
- Develop and track KPI’s to drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
