Valcom is seeking a Stockroom Associate to help maintain the efficiency and accuracy of our stockroom operations. In this role, you'll be pulling and stocking parts, verifying inventory, and supporting production teams to keep workflows running seamlessly. This is a full-time, benefitted, position working Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. onsite in the manufacturing facility. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of the business.
Qualifications
- Ability to read & write in English for effective communication and production documentation.
- Basic math skills to perform cycle counts and handle inventory discrepancies.
- Skill in handling small parts and tools for tasks.
- Thoroughness in completing tasks, ensuring accuracy and precision while timely completing work.
- Familiarity with computer systems.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and instructions from supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to build positive relationships and achieve common goals.
- Proper use and maintenance of safety gear and equipment, and adherence to safety policies.
- Ability to work overtime as required by the company.
- Willingness to cross-train.
