ENGINEER, SUSTAINING

Sustaining Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the long-term reliability and safety of products and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues: Address technical problems that arise in products after they’ve been released or are in use.
• Continuous improvement: Implement changes and enhancements to existing designs to improve performance, durability, and safety.
• Data analysis: Monitor and analyze data from products in service to identify trends, predict potential failures, and recommend proactive solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain and update technical documents, such as manuals, service bulletins, and repair instructions.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure that all modifications and repairs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, suppliers, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Experience: Prior experience in sustaining engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related field.
• Technical skills: Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools.
• Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.
• Attention to detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and engineering tasks.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Project management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.

• Knowledge of regulations: Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA). 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of the job, you may be regularly required to stand, sit, and walk. 

May occasionally lift to 20 lbs.
