MANAGER, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

Description: 

We are seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to become an integral part of our team.  The role is responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing staff learning, as well as designing, implementing, and improving the program as a whole. This is a hands on, self-motivaed positon that is expected to interact with employees at every level, as well as help promote a culture of continuous improvement across all functions with the organization. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze organizational learning and development needs and modify existing programs or develop innovative new programs to meet the needs of our organization and employees
• Provide and implement recommendations for improvement in methods and learning and devlopment approaches 
• Collaborate with management to create and conduct surveys designed to identify specific learning and development needs within the organization
• Create and promote a positive learning culture 
• Effectively manage the learning and development budget
• Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that learning and development processes are meeting business needs and improving performance
• Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic learning based on the organization’s goals
• Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement
• Keep abreast of learning trends, developments and best practices 

Job Skills & Qualifications: 

• 5 Years experience in learning and development
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred
• Experience with learning curriculum creation
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team
• Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills
