What are the responsibilities and job description for the TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT position at Valcor Engineering Corporation?
Education:
- Minimum – High School Diploma
- Preferred – Vocational School Graduate
- Preferred – Associates Degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience.
Duties:
- Perform assembly and performance testing of electro-mechanical fluid control devices. Comply with essential procedures, blueprints, and associated schematics to ensure safety and quality of product.
- Operate, develop, and maintain high pressure test systems, to include pneumatic, hydraulic, and calibration fluid test stands and pumps.
- Conduct electrical testing and verifications utilizing various electronic testing devices.
Required Skills:
- Experience analyzing blueprints and developing procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to assemble electro-mechanical hardware.
- Experience with high pressure testing with various fluids and gases.
- Ability to conduct electrical tests including, dielectric and insulation resistance testing.
- Experience soldering to Class B standards. Class A experience preferred.
- Computer literacy, Microsoft office, word, and excel experience.
- Experience operating in controlled clean-room environments.
- Experience conducting clean-room particulate analysis and data collection.
- Manufacturing processing experience or machining experience a plus.
- Ability to operate diagnostic testing equipment: Oscilloscopes, Lab View, etc.
- Ability to systematically troubleshoot and repair hardware.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable working environment.
