Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance & Control Manager to join our team. This role is critical in developing and implementing company standards and procedures for quality control and assurance across our exterior building maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the industry and a strong background in managing quality within a matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control and assurance standards and procedures for exterior building maintenance services, including window and door replacement, resealing of building materials, concrete repair and restoration, caulking, building sealing, and waterproofing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including those set by BOMA, IWCA, SWRI, ANSI and other relevant governing bodies.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance and control procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements to continuously improve quality standards.
- Report to the Vice President of Operations for the Waterproofing Division.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of industry-specific experience in quality assurance and control.
- Membership in related industry organizations and governance bodies.
- Proven experience managing quality within a matrix organization as a functional leader.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including BOMA, IFMA and SWRI.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and Travel:
- The position will be based in one of our branch locations: San Jose, CA; Washington DC; New Jersey; New York; Florida; Texas; or Atlanta, GA.
- Travel to other locations will be required, with an expected travel rate of up to 25%.
