The Project Manager - Facilities is responsible for performing project management of a portfolio of capital renewal projects for all corporate facilities. Project Manager with an engineering background is desired. This position deals with projects of a complex nature with regard to technical and logistics issues and requires experience in dealing with a variety of disciplines.
\n- Responsible for project management of MEP facilities projects, including complex projects requiring coordination of multidisciplinary technical and logistical issues
- Management of multiple projects concurrently from project conception through design, construction and final occupancy
- Coordinate activities of outside consultants including engineers and contractors
- Initiate and evaluate alternatives and cost savings opportunities
- Develop and ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets and vendor contracts
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with other business units including Supply Chain, Environmental, IT/Telecom, Voice/Data, Real Estate, Accounting/Finance
- Develop and coordinate issuance of RFP's for professional services and general contracting service
- Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental standard processes and procedures for project management
- Must be a self-starter and possess ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
- Ability to travel to and from various project sites as necessary (primarily in-state)
- Bachelor degree in any engineering disciple with applicable experience
- 5 years of direct experience in managing the planning, design and construction of multi-discipline facilities projects involving varied stakeholders
- Process focused and collaborative work style
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project; experience in SAP, Sharepoint, and Procure (or other PM/ERP systems) preferred
- Familiarity with local, state and federal environmental codes and standards
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
$80,000 - $150,000 a year
Salaries for all position are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, total years of experience in the industry, education, skills, and qualifications. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate's individual background and expertise.
