Job Summary : Apply the proper finish to cloth.
Tools used : Assorted maintenance tools, wrenches, screwdriver, pliers, etc.
Essential Functions : Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards :
- Apply proper finish to cloth.
- Keep blade free from strings or other foreign objects.
- Change waste latex and waste water barrels when full.
- Clean or replace scotchgard tips and filters when necessary.
- Check on scotchgard tips to make sure they are spraying correctly.
- Pin cloth correctly.
- Keep foamer clean and soap tank filled to proper level.
- Flush out the latex pump, latex lines, scotchgard pump and lines at the end of the shift.
- Clean out inside of dryer daily and / or weekly as requested by supervisor.
- Mix scotchgard formulas and keep tanks filled.
- Give relief breaks to exit-end operator and coater operator.
- Recycle waste latex.
- Mix chemicals for the different wash processes.
- Clean areas around machines.
- Line up buggies of cloth for finish.
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
