Job Description:
- Pull rolls of fabric from storage tubes using computer-controlled sheet-pulling instructions.
- Operate a cherry picker safely and efficiently to pull rolls of cloth from storage tubes.
- Load local trucks with pulled fabric rolls.
Responsibilities:
- Pull orders from tubes by customer acknowledgment number and item number.
- Pull a minimum of 40 rolls per hour and place them for shipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Safety Procedures:
- Follow guidelines established by Valdese Weavers to ensure safe working practices.
- Report any job-related injuries or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Employee Qualifications:
- Meet basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Forklift license required.
- Heavy lifting required.
