Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.

Job Summary : Keep sample inventory in order.
Tools and Equipment used : Computer, electric scissors, LXE gun, yardstick, staple gun.
Essential Functions : Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001 work instructions and standards :
- Add, delete and maintain pieces in sample inventory.
- Complete and close out sample tickets in SAP.
- Maintain hardcopy (notebook) of sample pieces received daily.
- Order sample remakes, shortages as needed.
- Pulls and places patterns on the cutting table in the order to be cut.
- Assemble colorlines as needed.
- Put "pattern / color labels" on line items as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping throughout the department, i.e. sweep, trash, etc.
- Packs and removes scrap boxes from the department.
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
