About Us
Vale Vet Clinic, located in rural Eastern Oregon, was established over 40 years ago, with deep roots in its community and the agriculture way of life. Locally owned and operated, Vale Vet Clinic takes pride in developing meaningful relationships with our clients, gives back to our community and delivers professional, quality, and compassionate care to each and every animal we work with.
We offer full veterinary services for small and large animals at our clinic, while also providing on-site services, after-hours and emergency services to Malheur County, and surrounding counties.
At Vale Vet Clinic, we have a large animal heated barn with covered pens, small animal surgery suite, portable ultrasound machines for pregnancy checking, in house diagnostics and pharmacy with full support staff.
Our practice is growing, and we are looking to add two veterinarians, small animal and mixed animal, to our team who are qualified, passionate about their work, community and are team players.
The right candidates for these positions will be licensed veterinarians, who are ready to work in a fast-past environment with a positive attitude while living in a close knit rural area.
These positions are full-time or part-time, with full-time being 4 days per week, shared on call weekends and week nights (1 week night and 1 weekend per month).
Requirements:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Active license in good standing
• Passionate about providing quality, compassionate, preventative and professional care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including writing, speaking in person and on the phone, and the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to get along with a wide customer base
•Must be able to work weekends, after-hours and be on call
